"Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, 'Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,' but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? " (James 2:25-16)
Saturdays 9:30-11:30 (or when food runs out)
Starting 2/7/2026: 10-noon (or when food runs out)

We can always use food donations, especially non-perishable foods.
Most needed right now: peanut butter, canned meals (like chili), canned fruit with pop off tops.
NOT NEEDED: We have an overabundance of canned green beans and corn at the moment.
We can accept donations Friday and Saturday mornings between 8:30 and 11.

We can always use volunteers to help us on Fridays and Saturdays.
Most needed right now: People to help with carrying boxes and stocking food on Fridays.
Also needed: People willing to help with food distribution, stocking, and clean-up on Saturdays, and people willing to help now and then with food pick up.

If you're unhoused or a resident of Jefferson county (or any area within five miles of the church), you're welcome to use the Gloria Pruessner Memorial Food pantry.
When we have more than a handful (5) people lined up at the start of the pantry, we draw numbers from a hat to decide who will enter the pantry first (anyone present when the pantry opens has an equal shot of being first in line).
