What To Expect
GREETED
with smiling faces.
CASUAL DRESS
feel free to wear jeans, your Sunday best, or whatever makes you feel comfortable.
RELEVANT MESSAGE
Positive, biblically based messages help you deal with real life issues. An outline in the bulletin provides Bible passages and main points so you can follow along.
MUSIC
You won’t find a choir or an organ… We play some of today’s best Christian music, and some of our own compositions.
LYRICS
Lyrics are displayed on a screen in front and you are encouraged to sing along. If you don’t want to, that’s ok; you can just listen.
ART
We display the art from the many prayer groups and ministries we have who are encouraged through their art.
What We Believe
It is our desire to create disciple making communities. We do this through reaching people, teaching them to love and serve Jesus, and sending them to reach, teach, and send others.
We would love to see you soon!
Our Church was first established in 1965
What Others Say About The Rising
Read Rebel R.'s review of The Rising Church on Yelp
"We love The Rising because of the warm, friendly people that make up the church body. Its casual atmosphere allows us to feel comfortable serving the Lord with the opportunity to learn more about what God has planned for our lives."
"The children's programs, youth group, relevant energetic music, and the easy to follow worship service are welcoming to all, which makes The Rising our church home."
"I come to The Rising because the teachings are biblical based and heartfelt. Our Celebrate Recovery Program has changed my life, and I now have a personal relationship with Christ."
"We came to a Chrstmas Eve service, and The Rising had the feel of a loving, small, home town church. We had been attending a "mega church" and really felt lost and unconnected. The Rising is a loving church that we can feel very much a part of. We love the worship experience and the people."
